McFadden Group, Inc. presents
The Warner Hotel
Distinctive Lodging in Downtown West Chester
McFadden Group, Inc. has a recorded land development plan with HARB approval for a five story hotel building on the previous Warner Theater site at High and Chestnut Streets in downtown West Chester. The existing façade on High Street has been “spruced up” and will remain pretty much the same. The existing entrance for the previous Inquirer offices will become the main lobby entrance to the new 90 room hotel.
Our plans include over 50 onsite parking spaces by virtue of a two story parking facility at the base of the new structure. A swimming pool, exercise facility, meeting rooms, as well as a small service bar will be included. The Warner Hotel will be affiliated with Sterling Hotels and Historic Hotels of America both of which are part of the Preferred Hotel Group.
All the construction will take place at the rear of the stores on the existing surface parking lot. The hotel will be a mix of room types. The current architects are Bonsal Shafferman of Bethlehem, PA. Jean Painter prepared the concept rendering above. The Interior design ideas included on this website are by Design and Supply Company, Inc. who have furnished many hotels including the Valley Forge Desmond.
McFadden Group, Inc. thanks the West Chester Planning Commission and Borough Council and the Chester County Planning Commission for approval of the project. Construction is anticipated to start in the spring of 2009.
